These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and use of the courses, digital content, subscriptions and other services I offer through Escuela Español Vivo.
By making a purchase, you agree to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of purchase.

2. Products and Services
Through Escuela Español Vivo, I mainly offer Spanish-learning courses and digital content, as well as certain subscriptions and, when available, private online Spanish lessons.
The specific features of each product or service —including content, level, duration, materials included, type of access, support, price and any other applicable conditions— will be clearly stated before purchase.
The courses are mainly self-paced digital courses that students access online. They may include downloadable materials, exercises, audio content and, where stated, feedback on selected optional activities.
The availability, features and prices of products and services may change over time as I continue to maintain and improve their quality, without affecting purchases already made.
3. Purchase Process and Access
To make a purchase, you will need to provide the information requested during the checkout process, accept the applicable terms and complete payment using one of the available payment methods.
Once payment has been confirmed, you will receive the information you need to access the product or service you have purchased.
Access to courses and the private student area is personal and non-transferable.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
4. Prices and Payment
The applicable price will always be the price shown on the relevant sales page or at checkout at the time of purchase.
Prices shown include any applicable taxes, where relevant. The amount displayed before you confirm your purchase will be the final price payable.
Payments may be made through Stripe or PayPal, depending on the options available at checkout.
Promotions, discounts or subsequent price changes do not give rise to a right to a refund of the difference in price for purchases already made.
5. Courses and Digital Content
Courses and digital products provide access to the content and materials described on the relevant sales page.
Where a product includes immediate access, you may begin using it as soon as payment has been confirmed.
Because of the digital nature of these products and the fact that you may access the content immediately and, in some cases, download materials, the right of withdrawal will cease to apply once the supply of the digital content has begun, provided that the applicable legal requirements have been met.
This does not affect any rights you may have if the product does not conform to what was agreed.
6. Conformity of Digital Content
The content you purchase must substantially match the description and features stated on the sales page at the time of purchase.
If essential content included in the offer is missing, access does not work properly, or there is another significant issue preventing you from using the product as agreed, you can contact me at ana@escuelaespanolvivo.com so that I can address the issue.
Where required by law, if the problem cannot be resolved or is not resolved properly, you will be entitled to the remedies provided under consumer law, including, where applicable, a price reduction or refund.
Personal dissatisfaction with the content, a change of mind, or not using the course does not in itself mean that the product is non-conforming.
7. Annual Subscription to Podcast Español Vivo
Podcast Español Vivo is offered as an annual subscription with automatic renewal.
The current price and subscription terms will be shown before you complete your purchase.
The subscription will automatically renew for another annual period unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
You can cancel the renewal directly from your account without needing to contact me.
Cancelling will prevent future charges, and you will continue to have access to the content until the end of the annual period you have already paid for.
Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the annual period already paid for, unless you are legally entitled to one.
Before renewal, you will receive the required notice within the legally applicable timeframe, informing you of the upcoming renewal and how to cancel it.

8. Private Lessons
I may also offer private online Spanish lessons when availability allows.
Lessons may be purchased as one of the packages available on the website. The number of lessons, duration, price and other features of each package will be those stated on the relevant page at the time of purchase.
Packages must be paid for in advance, before the first lesson or before the relevant block of lessons begins.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be deducted from your package.
If you request a rescheduled lesson, I will do my best to offer an alternative time within the validity period of your package, subject to my availability.
In the event of illness or another justified exceptional circumstance, I may agree to reschedule the lesson even if the 24-hour notice period has not been met.
If I need to reschedule a lesson, I will let you know as soon as possible and we will arrange a new time within the validity period of your package.
Any materials I provide during private lessons are for the student’s personal use and are subject to the intellectual property terms set out in this document. They may not be shared, distributed, resold or used for commercial purposes without permission.
9. Access for Teachers and Schools
I also offer specific access options for teachers and schools.
As requirements may vary from one case to another, the specific terms —including the number of users, duration, price, scope of access and any other relevant conditions— will be communicated individually by email after I receive an enquiry.
If you wish to proceed, I will provide the relevant terms and, where appropriate, a proposal or a specific payment link or checkout.
Access must comply with the agreed number of users and may not be shared with anyone outside those authorised under the relevant arrangement.
10. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
The audio content, texts, exercises, downloadable materials and other content provided through Escuela Español Vivo are protected by intellectual property rights.
Your purchase grants you a personal right to access and use the content only, unless the specific option purchased expressly permits a different type of use.
You may not:
share your login details with other people;
distribute, publish or share the materials;
reproduce them for purposes other than the permitted personal use;
resell courses, content or materials;
use them for commercial purposes;
make them available to third parties, whether free of charge or for payment.
Downloadable materials may be saved and used for your personal learning, but they may not be redistributed or commercially exploited.
These conditions also apply to materials provided during private lessons.
Where access has been purchased specifically for teachers or schools, the agreed terms of use and number of authorised users will apply.
A serious breach of these conditions may result in suspension or cancellation of access, without prejudice to any other legal rights or remedies that may apply.
11. Course Results
The products and services I offer are educational and provide content and resources designed to help you learn and improve your Spanish.
I cannot guarantee any specific result, as progress also depends on individual factors such as your starting level, the time you dedicate to learning, your practice and how you use the materials.
12. Availability and Technical Issues
I will do my best to keep the website, private student area and content available and working properly.
However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond my control.
If an issue significantly affects your access to a product you have purchased, you can contact me at ana@escuelaespanolvivo.com so that I can address it.
13. Data Protection
Personal data provided during the purchase process will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Escuela Español Vivo.
14. Breach of These Terms
I may suspend or cancel access where there is a serious breach of these Terms and Conditions, particularly in cases involving account sharing, unauthorised distribution of content, fraudulent use or failure to meet payment obligations.
Where possible and appropriate given the nature of the breach, the user will be informed in advance and given an opportunity to resolve the issue.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
In the event of a dispute, the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction under the applicable law will be competent, while fully respecting any rights available to consumers under applicable legislation.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated where necessary due to changes in the law, changes to the products or services offered, or changes to the purchasing process.
Each purchase will be governed by the version of these Terms and Conditions in force at the time the purchase is made.
