This module helps you move beyond isolated words and start building simple sentences connected to your real life.
You learn to talk about family, relationships, hobbies and leisure.
You will continue expanding your vocabulary while practising structures that help you describe people, activities and situations with more detail.
You start learning how to talk about plans and future actions, while also working with important irregular forms in the present.
This module helps you say more, understand more, and move beyond the most predictable beginner sentences.
You learn useful language to talk about the weather, clothes, objects, places and location.
This module helps you describe what is around you and understand practical language that appears often in daily life.
You learn how to talk about how you feel, parts of the body, symptoms and basic health situations.
This is practical language for travel, life abroad and everyday situations where being able to explain what is happening matters.
You learn to talk about your home, your habits, your routine and everyday actions in more detail.
You also begin working with the foundations of the past, so you can start moving beyond only talking about the present.
You learn how to compare, express opinions and use other essential structures that help you communicate with more nuance.
This final module brings together important pieces that prepare you to keep learning Spanish with a stronger base.

About me
¡Hola! My name is Ana.
I’m from Galicia, in the north of Spain, and I’m the teacher behind Español Vivo.
I have been teaching Spanish since 2010, working with hundreds of adult learners from different countries, levels and backgrounds.
I also know what it feels like to learn a language from zero, to live abroad, and to feel frustrated when you cannot express yourself as clearly as you would like.
That is one of the reasons why I care so much about making Spanish feel clearer, more structured and more human for adult learners.
My background in Psychopedagogy helps me design materials that are clear, progressive and practical, with explanations you can understand and practice that helps you use what you are learning from the beginning.
Everything in Español Vivo has been created with care, structure and more than 15 years of teaching experience.

A student’s experience with the course
Since retiring last year, I moved to Spain and thought it is important to try and mix with local Spanish people. I went to a couple of classes with another teacher, but sharing 1 hour a week with 4 other students did not give me what I was looking for, not to mention the expense. I found Ana’s website. This works for me, as I download the audio, as I work through the modules onto my laptop and my phone. This means, when I am out cycling or just sitting have a coffee enjoying the view I can listen to my Spanish Audio. The lessons can also be downloaded so I can print them and keep them in an orderly file. The audios are clear and the explanations of verbs etc are very clear. For example: a friend of mine who attends a weekly course told me she was stressing over the verb «to go» and found it difficult. I explained it the way Ana explains it and my friends said «is that it???».
The amount in these modules is amazing. Much more than any other courses I have attempted. Because it is online and accessible anywhere. Plus I can do this at my own pace. Don’t get me wrong I still have to put the study in, if I am too busy to study I simply go back a couple of modules to refresh my memory.
